Program Vision and Learning Goals:

Individual Coach Training Program is a solution-centred process program created for individuals to gain the ability to utilize their inner power, recognise their potential and create the changes they intend to.

When they complete this program, participants are expected to be able to become the coach of their personal lives, as well as start coaching as a profession. They can also apply at ICF for an official coaching title.

The program intends to teach its participants

  • ICF Key Skills
  • ICF Fundamental Competencies and Standards
  • ICF Code of Ethics
  • What coaching is and what it isn’t, the limits of coaching
  • Coaching-based communication
  • Steps to fundamental coaching
  • How to manage and conclude a coaching process.

The training program is enriched with coaching exercises which should flex the participants’ coaching muscles.

Coaching Model:

Individual Coach Training Program is based on a 3-stage coaching model.

  • Setting a goal or developing an existing goal
  • Creating motivation for the goal
  • Creating an action plan and designing follow-up

We firmly expect that the participants who learn this coaching model also take part in group activities which we take as a critical part of our training system. These activities should improve participants’ group learning skills outside normal training. Hence coaches, who will gather monthly in the periodical graduate events, will get the chance to implement the practices of three-stage coaching model.

Through these post-training activities we believe that our graduates can keep fresh their motivations for coaching. Participation to monthly group activities can create more self-confident first steps in professional life.

This system with consistent steps, when followed through stages in their natural order, is expected to bring successful outcomes for both individuals and corporations.

Deciding one’s goal or focus area is the first step of leverage in order to be able to take action.

However adequate the goal is in terms of meeting the desired criteria, any lack of motivation will prevent an individual or an institution from taking meaningful action. Therefore the goal should encompass and enable realization of the conditions of individual motivation.

In the last stage an effective action plan should be created in order to get the intended result. Steps of the plan should be clear. This will complete the 3-stage coaching model.

This is how the coaching system, with measurable outcomes, is expressed through out Individual Coach Training Program.

Complaints and Grievance Policy

Complaints and Grievance Policy is aware that there may be times when employees need to file an official complaint about unjust treatment, harassment, and/or health and safety concerns in the workplace. This grievance procedure policy was created to clearly outline the process for these instances to ensure that all of our employees are heard and treated equally.

The purpose of this grievance procedure policy is to :

  1. a) explain the scope and definition of grievances,
  2. b) outline the process for reporting and closing a grievance,
  3. c) define the company's confidentiality measures,
  4. d) describe the disciplinary action steps for policy violations.

This policy is applicable to all employees, including paid interns, volunteers, and seasonal, part-time, and permanent employees. Complaints can be made against any employee, including senior management and shareholders. "Grievance" is defined as a formal work-related complaint, issue, and/or objection made by an employee. Before filing an official grievance complaint, Grievance Procedure asks that all employees review the policy that directly impacts their complaint. For example, if an employee files a sexual harassment complaint, he/she must consult the company's legal counsel.

It encourages employees to resolve minor disputes with the help of a liaison officer, manager, and the CEO. If the informal complaint is not fairly and constructively resolved within 90 days, employees may file a formal grievance.

Employees can file grievances when:

  • They have been victims of workplace harassment.
  • Their health and safety have been compromised.
  • They've witnessed poor supervisor and/or management behavior.
  • When unfair changes are made to the employment contract.
  • When policy guidelines are violated.
  • There are unjust changes made to the employment agreement.
  • Policy guidelines are violated.
  • There is a dispute between co-workers, suppliers, and/or management.

It also recognizes that every case is different and this list is subject to change, depending on the definition. When filing a grievance, employees have the option of reporting their complaints using the company's official online portal or contacting their direct supervisor and directly the CEO. In all cases, employees will be required to complete a written statement. Once the complaint has been submitted to the company, employees have the right to attend meetings with a witness, appeal decisions, and depending on the severity of the complaint, refuse to attend work until the grievance is resolved.

When a grievance is filed against another employee, the accused also reserves the right to:

  • View and request a copy of the official grievance complaint.
  • Formally respond to the complaint after consulting his/her union representative and the senior management.
  • Attend all formal meetings with a witness.
  • Appeal the final decision, under the Responsibilities of ILS Özel Eğitim ve Danışmanlık ( ILS Education and Consultancy )
  • Accept and thoroughly investigate all grievance complaints.
  • Ensure that the grievance is resolved within 90 days, depending on the severity of each case. • Treat all parties fairly throughout the grievance process.
  • Adhere to the no-retaliation policy when employees file a complaint against management.
  • Organize mediation meetings with the appropriate parties.
  • Practice a high level of confidentiality throughout the grievance process.
  • Accept and investigate all appeals.
  • Ensure that the final decision is implemented.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of each grievance.

Confidentiality employees, including senior management and ILS Eğitim ve Danışmanlık representatives, are required to sign a confidentiality agreement that limits their discussion before and after the complaint is resolved.

All parties are prohibited from discussing the matter with any other employee.  If an employee is found to have violated the grievance procedure policy, they will be subject to disciplinary action. The severity of each case will determine the type of disciplinary action, which may include a verbal or written warning, suspension. If an employee is unequivocally proven to have committed the grievance he/she is being accused of, will adhere to its disciplinary action framework to ensure that the matter is resolved justly and according to company guidelines.
